Cancelation policy

For all packages, in case of cancellation 10% of the total booking amount will be retained to cover administrative and booking expenses (such as hotels, restaurants, logistics and preparation costs). This amount is considered the booking deposit and is non-refundable. In some cases it may be credited toward a future booking at the company’s discretion.

If a booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the event date and the total amount has already been paid, 90% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event, the booking becomes non-refundable.

Refunds will be issued to the client’s original payment method once the payment is received and cleared by our payment provider (credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal). Transfer fees, exchange fees or bank charges may apply depending on the financial institutions involved. North Star Enduro holds no responsibility for such fees.

In the event that North Star Enduro cancels an event, participants will receive a 100% refund of all payments made for the event package.

Travel expenses such as flights, visas or other external arrangements are not covered by the company.

Flight Issues

North Star Enduro is not responsible for issues caused by airlines, transportation companies, delays, cancellations or lost baggage related to travel arrangements made by participants.

Participants must inform the company as soon as possible in case of changes to their arrival time to avoid additional transfer or accommodation costs.

In case of baggage loss, North Star Enduro will attempt to assist in sourcing riding gear for the participant where possible. Availability will depend on group size and equipment sizes available.

Motorcycle Damage Responsibility

Participants are responsible for any damage caused to motorcycles during the tour beyond normal wear and tear.

In the case of damage resulting from misuse, crash, negligence or failure to follow guide instructions, the participant may be required to cover repair or replacement costs partially or in full.

North Star Enduro reserves the right to assess and determine repair costs. A damage deposit may be required prior to the tour depending on the event.

Injuries and Medical Responsibility

Motorcycle riding, especially off-road riding, involves significant inherent risks.

In the event of an injury, North Star Enduro staff will make reasonable efforts to assist participants in receiving medical treatment and support procedures related to their personal insurance coverage.

Participants are required to carry their own personal travel and sports insurance, covering at minimum:

  • Off-road motorcycling

  • Extreme sports participation

  • Medical treatment

  • Hospitalization

  • Emergency rescue

  • Repatriation if necessary

If a participant does not have appropriate insurance, North Star Enduro will still make reasonable efforts to seek immediate assistance through the Greek emergency medical system (EKAV) and the nearest hospital.

North Star Enduro staff are trained in first aid and will assist participants when possible in non-emergency situations.

However, participants remain responsible for their own safety and physical condition.

Medical Data

Participants may be required to complete a medical information form before the tour.

This form may include information regarding:

  • allergies

  • medical conditions

  • medications

  • dietary restrictions

Providing accurate information is mandatory.

North Star Enduro reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation if a participant is deemed medically unfit to safely participate in the tour.

In such a case the participant will receive a refund of the tour package, excluding travel or external expenses.

Failure to disclose relevant medical conditions may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

Rider Skill and License Requirements

Participants confirm that they possess the appropriate riding experience and physical condition necessary for off-road motorcycle riding.

Participants must hold a valid motorcycle driving license recognized internationally for the motorcycles used during the tours.

Providing incorrect or misleading information regarding riding experience or licensing may result in disqualification from the event without refund.

Participation Risks

Motorcycle riding involves inherent dangers and risks, including but not limited to:

  • falls and accidents

  • injuries or death

  • property damage

  • challenging terrain

  • obstacles such as rocks, trees, holes and uneven ground

  • remote locations with limited communication

  • delayed rescue or medical services

  • rapidly changing weather conditions

Participants acknowledge these risks and voluntarily accept full responsibility for their participation.

Participants agree that North Star Enduro, its guides, employees, partners and representatives cannot be held liable for injuries, damages or losses occurring during the event except where required by applicable law.

Protective Equipment

Participants must wear appropriate protective riding gear at all times, including:

  • helmet

  • goggles

  • chest protection

  • elbow protection

  • gloves

  • riding jersey and pants

  • knee protection

  • riding boots

Participants remain fully responsible for the condition and suitability of their equipment.

If equipment is rented or provided by North Star Enduro, participants accept that use of such equipment is at their own responsibility.

Route and Schedule Changes

North Star Enduro reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, accommodation or itineraries at any time for safety reasons, weather conditions, operational needs or unforeseen circumstances.

Force Majeure

North Star Enduro cannot be held responsible for cancellations, delays or modifications caused by circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to:

  • extreme weather conditions

  • natural disasters

  • fires

  • political unrest

  • road closures

  • pandemics

  • government restrictions

  • strikes or transportation disruptions

In such cases the company reserves the right to modify routes or schedules without liability for additional compensation.

Alcohol and Drug Policy

Participation in rides under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance affecting judgment or reaction time is strictly prohibited.

North Star Enduro reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a rider from the event if such behaviour is suspected.

No refund will apply in such cases.

Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment during the tour.

North Star Enduro cannot be held liable for loss, theft or damage to personal items.

Media and Marketing Usage

Participants agree that photos, videos and other media captured during the tour may be used by North Star Enduro for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on websites, social media platforms and advertising material.

Participants may revoke this permission in writing prior to the start of the tour.

North Star Enduro will never sell or distribute personal client data to third parties.

Disqualification from Event

North Star Enduro reserves the right to remove a participant from the event without refund in cases including but not limited to:

  • dangerous riding behaviour

  • refusal to follow guide instructions

  • insufficient riding experience that risks safety

  • aggressive or disrespectful behaviour toward guides, staff, locals or other participants

  • complaints from hotels, restaurants or local authorities

  • damage caused through irresponsible riding

  • disrespect toward the environment, local wildlife or nature

  • failure to present a valid driving license

  • riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs

In such cases participants may still use hotel accommodation and transfers included in the package, but will not be allowed to continue riding activities.

Minimum Participants

North Star Enduro reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events if the minimum number of participants required to operate the tour is not reached.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Greece.

Any disputes arising from participation in North Star Enduro events shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Greek courts.
