What a crazy season it’s been so far! I’ve already spent around 70 days guiding extreme enduro tours right here in the woods of Kavala, and we’ve hosted 43 awesome guests from all over the world.
Just turned 52 on October 11th, and honestly, there was no better place to celebrate my birthday than out on the trails. We had a great mix of riders out with us—guys from America, Romania, Israel, and the UK. The weather was spot on, perfect for riding, and as always, big thanks to all our local friends who gave us a hand to keep everything running smooth.
The terrain here in Kavala is no joke, but the Beta bikes are absolute tractors. Paired up with X-Grip tires, we were finding traction on the nastiest rocky climbs and wet riverbeds where you’d normally expect to slide right down. We’ve also been testing out our new Airscreen goggles on these long days—zero fogging issues even when we were sweating up the hard, technical sections.
